RETURNS WITHIN AUSTRALIA   |   RETURNS FROM NEW ZEALAND

 

EXTENDED RETURNS PERIOD 

Orders placed between 1st and 27th December qualify for our extended Returns period – you can return any item [that meets the criteria within our Returns policy], by post, or in-person at one of our stores, up until 28th January 2024.

 

 

AUSTRALIAN RETURNS

You can return your items to us by post, or visit us in-store

 

Is your item(s) clothing or an accessory and you bought within the last 30 days? 

When returning items to our online team, shipping is FREE if your item is an Apparel product [clothing or accessories] and was delivered to an Australian address. Please scroll down for instructions on how to return your item(s) to us.

Is your item(s) a bulky item? A suitcase, tent, table or chair...

We do not offer free returns on 'bulky items' -  For a full list of 'bulky items' please click here. Please scroll down for instructions on how to return your item(s) to us.

Is your item from our OUTLET and marked as 'final sale'?

We do not offer returns online or in-store on 'Final Sale' items purchased from our OUTLET, unless your item is faulty or 'not as described'.

 

CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES

If your item(s) is clothing and/or accessories, and meet the requirements in the return policy, including (but not limited to) returning within 30 days or receipt, items in original condition and packaging -

  • https://return.auspost.com.au/NATIONAL_GEOGRAPHIC
  • We recommend using the above Auspost tracked method of postage to ensure your return arrives back to us safely. If you choose to use a different courier, or send via Auspost using another method, please ensure you use a tracked service and include a completed returns form found here.

  • PLEASE NOTE - It is your responsibility to ensure your items reach our premises; we will not take responsibility for your items until we accept delivery of them.

If your item is faulty, and the item was bought longer than 30 days ago, please contact customer care - customercare@natgeostore.com.au - and we will send a returns label to you (so you can return for free back to your warehouse)

 

BULKY ITEMS - suitcases, camping tables and chairs, tents

If your item is 'bulky' - generally this means suitcases, camping tables, camping chairs, tents - then you will need to return your items back to us, at your own expense. Please follow the instructions below to send your items back to us:

  1. ensure your item(s) meets the requirements of our returns policy, including (but not limited to) returning within 30 days or receipt, items in original condition and packaging
  2. download and print our returns form
  3. complete the returns form with all your details - this is so we know what order the item(s) relates to, and therefore, we will be able to refund your payment back to you.
  4. pack the returns form together with the returned items - ensure your items are in their original condition and packaging, if you are returning for 'change of mind' or 'wrong size' reasons.
  5. return the items to the following address using your shipping carrier/courier of choice - we recommend that you use registered shipping/have tracking details for your returns parcel; we are unable to take responsibility for your returned items until they have successfully reached the above address.
  6. Send to the following address: 
  • Nat Geo Returns, Unit 2, 43-53 Days Road, Upper Coomera, QLD 4209

 

Refund payments will be processed: 

Within 3-5 business days of receipt, via the payment method used for your online order.

• Credit card refunds will be visible in your bank account within 1-10 business days, depending on your financial institution, 

• PayPal refunds will be visible in your PayPal balance immediately, 

• Afterpay and ZipPay refunds will be visible in your account within 3-5 business days, depending on your financial institution.  

 

RETURN IN-STORE 

If your item(s) are in-line with our returns policy, you can return into one of our stores;

• Your return must be accompanied by your online order confirmation email, packing slip or in-store receipt. 

• You can return your online item(s) in-store, irrespective of whether you shipped your order to an Australian or New Zealand address. 

 

NEW ZEALAND RETURNS

For returns of 'Faulty' items - please contact customer care to arrange free shipping - customercare@natgeostore.com.au

For 'change of mind' returns, you will need to return your items back to us, at your own expense. Please follow the instructions below to send your items back to us:

  1. ensure your item(s) meets the requirements of our returns policy, including (but not limited to) returning within 30 days or receipt, items in original condition and packaging
  2. download and print our returns form
  3. complete the returns form with all your details - this is so we know what order the item(s) relates to, and therefore, we will be able to refund your payment back to you.
  4. pack the returns form together with the returned items - ensure your items are in their original condition and packaging, if you are returning for 'change of mind' or 'wrong size' reasons.
  5. return the items to the following address using your shipping carrier/courier of choice - we recommend that you use registered shipping/have tracking details for your returns parcel; we are unable to take responsibility for your returned items until they have successfully reached the above address.
  6. Send to the following address:

Once your return is received via Austrailia Post, it can take up to 5 business days for your refund to be processed. You will receive a Refunds notification email to confirm your refund has been processed.

Refunds will be submitted via the original payment method used for your online order [you can see this original method of payment on your order confirmation email]

• Credit card refunds will be visible in your bank account within 1-10 business days, depending on your financial institution, 

• PayPal refunds will be visible in your PayPal balance immediately, 

• Afterpay and ZipPay refunds will be visible in your account within 3-5 business days, depending on your financial institution.  

 

Is your item is faulty and you're not able to get a free returns label using process above?

  • Please contact us to arrange a free returns shipping label - please email customercare@natgeostore.com.au 
  • You can also bring your item into a store for a full refund or exchange
