The Nat Geo Wear launch campaign was shot on location at Cathedral Rocks, Kiama in New South Wales. Only 2 hours from Sydney, the expansive horizon in the distance framed by distinctive latite rock formations made for the perfect setting. The latite or volcanic rocks, created by remnants of the edge of lava flow that has been cooled and subsequently eroded by the sea, leaving these unique formations. Much like human existence, we too change and form over time and through unique experiences.

When the tide is low, the walk around to Cathedral Rocks, and the hidden cave, is worthwhile just to experience the majestic formations created by nature. Whether you are an avid explorer, amateur photographer or just like a crack of dawn walk, the sunrises at Cathedral Rocks are truly breathtaking.
